OFF SEASON UPDATE!

Summer has begun to fade and the air is just starting to hint of the coming chills ahead. The timing, one might say, is just about right for the release of an equal chilling indie thriller.

OFF SEASON is in the final stage of post-production. Our spine-tingling score is currently being produced by the uber-talented west coaster Justin Schornstein, and the color correction and fine-tuning of visual effects is being orchestrated by our very talented and capable friend Scott Cipu.

Once we have all these beautiful pieces completed, our movie will be finished. What was once an idea, formed into words on a page, given to actors to make real, captured by skilled technicians, cut and sliced into coherence, polished, and set to music, will soon be a movie. It's like Magic, but really, it's just lots of people doing what they love and doing it well.

We cannot wait to share this movie with you. That moment draws ever so near...

Two months ago, we wrapped photography on our noir-thriller, OFF SEASON. Today, we're happy to be able to share the film's first teaser trailer.

Editing is going very well and the feature is on target for release later this year. Stay tuned for more updates!

Two Features - Lots of News!

Photography has officially "wrapped" on Cold Hands Productions' second feature film, Off Season, starring our very own Elizabeth Lee, and talented actor Kimani Shillingford. After nearly a month straight of shooting at locations on Long Island, New Jersey and Manhattan, production was completed with great success! Make sure to become a fan on of the OS Facebook page for all the latest updates.

Meanwhile, Cold Hands Productions' first feature, Eat Me! / Break of the Dead was officially released in Japan on November 12, 2010 -- and the response has been overwhelming! Available at Japanese stores such as Tsutaya, "...kind of like a Blockbuster in their prime", and online in more places than we can count, it's already making waves in the land of the rising sun.

We're really hoping to have news of a North American release soon and apologize for the delay. In the meantime, we'll keep you posted with updates on the post-production of Off Season. Thank you again to all of our friends, family and Kickstarter donors for all their help in producing what we know will be an excellent film. We can't wait to show you more, and should have trailer for you to view in the next few weeks.

Casting Begins!

Spent a fabulous day reading some amazing talent for OFF SEASON. A huge thank you to our Casting Director Wayne Chang for pulling together such a great group of talent and for making the whole process run so smoothly. After seeing so many wonderful actors, we've got some really tough choices ahead of us. We are very grateful to all the actors who came out today and brought it with true New York style.

Announcing Our Next Project: OFF SEASON

We're happy to announce that pre-production has officially begun on our next feature-film project, OFF SEASON. This feature-length supernatural thriller will be shot in October and casting begins in July.

Off Season follows the path of Sylvie, a woman forced to flee the public eye after her husband is indicted for an act of devastating money fraud. She believes she's found the perfect hide away in an isolated bungalow by the ocean, but the solitude quickly turns threatening as she discovers she's being stalked by a mysterious presence. Terrified to reveal her true identity or her fears, she seeks romantic distraction with a local surfer. Will she open up to him in time to save herself, or will her dark past finally catch up to her?.
